Here you see Al Minns and Leon James demonstrating some the different forms of tradtional jazz dances: they start with some vernacular jazz steps doing part of the Tranky Doo (a routine choreographed by Pepsi Bethel in the 1940s), before moving on the Shimmy, Charleston, Snake-hips, back to 20s Charleson, and finishing up with the Lindy Hop. It was filmed in 1961, as part of the DuPont Show of the Week.
